It won't be anything to do with the actual php plugin files The statuses are being updated in the database - it must be related to he .js in some way. Ill have another quick look. I'm going to guess that your template edits are the cause as it works perfectly on both my local and live sites in all browsers "as is".

New version added to the MyBB mods centre. Once approved, I'll post the official download - you can now edit statuses from posts and the UCP too

Also, just thought Id mention that I've fixed leefish's error in the new version Found out that it was because the .js file was editing the class rather than the id - leading to complications.
