It won't be anything to do with the actual php plugin files The statuses are being updated in the database - it must be related to he .js in some way. Ill have another quick look. I'm going to guess that your template edits are the cause as it works perfectly on both my local and live sites in all browsers "as is".

New version added to the MyBB mods centre. Once approved, I'll post the official download - you can now edit statuses from posts and the UCP too
Also, just thought Id mention that I've fixed leefish's error in the new version Found out that it was because the .js file was editing the class rather than the id - leading to complications.

Hi euantor - I got the updated version from the mods site - its pretty awesome . But, as you know, I like to move the templates about...and this one has got me beat - where is the template for the text in the popup from post bit?? I just want to change the text a little and move the input button in line with the input textbox.

Well thats really weird.....I have an rss feed to the modifications database and I downloaded it almost right away. But now the link to it is showing as an invalid link.......

Sorry guys, I uploaded the wrong file and it got disapproved temporarily. I've uploaded the correct file now though.
@LeeFish: yo have to edit the poces-mystatus.php file. I didn't use templates for it, but it's really easy to edit
