MyStatus aims to re-produce IPB3's status feature to an extent. Currently, you can only set your own status, but future versions should allow for status commenting and "Liking".

MyStatus in itself is a very simple plugin - simple to use and simple to install. Installation requires you only to upload the files then activate the plugin from the ACP.

You can currently change your status from your profile, your UCP or your postbit. You can also set certain usergroups as "Admin" groups for statuses from the options to keep control over any dodgy characters using statuses for the wrong reasons

MyStatus does use jQuery (haters gonna hate), but I have tried to ensure there wont be any conflicts with Prototype

the image only revolves, and does not update the status after an hour too

That's very odd.. have yo uploaded all the files to the correct areas? Make sure the php file in the package is in the MyBB root. Also, can I have a link to your site?

just a small issue really - but when I update my status on my profile the status updates (I get the alert message) but I have to refresh the page for the "currently" to update.

I'm using Opera 10 as my browser on a Win7 pc.

It should update automatically - the .js file take care of all of that. I'll have to check in opera though. It certainly works in FF and IE.

Hm. Just tested your site and it doesn't work correctly at ll - not even in FF. You definitely have the JS file in the right area though and you haven't changed the needed classes.

Hi euantor - thanks for popping by to try it out - Hmm. Sounds like I may have a conflict in my js - maybe connected to that dodgy jQuery sidebar. I will take that out and test

EDIT: Did that - no change. Its not a disaster, it DOES work. maybe a php setting? I did change the template layout a little bit - is that maybe it?
