- The plugins are so much easier to use than phpBB's MODX system.
This is coming from someone who started with phpBB2 and went straight to MyBB 1.6, and has since then played with phpBB3 (which ain't half bad, but the ACP is very redundant and still a mess), vB (sucks), IP.Board (which I rather like, but didn't have the money for) SMF (keep trying, devs ) and Vanilla (I don't know what the darn thing is, but it's not forum software that's for sure )

As people have mentioned before. Its pretty easy to use, simple is the word.
Also, you don't have a billion options to wrap your head around like vBulletin. The admin cp is a fun experience actually.
So its fun and simple, that's why I love it!

The fact that it's free
you know in Iran we are kind of used to using cracked products and it's really a very bad feeling
So that's the best thing about MYBB

I agree. I'd put at the head the mod system. Before I used PhpBB but when I had to install a mod, I became very angry

Its free. It does it's job. It's the second best forum software (after vBulletin) so definitely worth it considering that you have to pay for vBulletin.
