When I first started out my forum I was using vBulletin but since they put the prices up to what I would call a ridiculous price I decided to leave VB well alone, I was attracted to mybb because it is similar to vBulletin in many ways with the clean styles and the settings and it's free which was an added bonus so I could have something similar to vBulletin which was free

It is pretty impressive out of the box. I would love to see more enhancement on the variables and bbcode.
