Simple thread. Why do you love MyBB, what are the perks you like about it?

Well, here goes for me.

I love MyBB because,
+ It doesn't take 30 minutes to install mods, only to come up with a MySQL error sometimes. *leers at phpBB*
+ If you accidentally make a mistake in installing mods, it only takes a quick deactivation of a file, rather than having to back-track what you edited. (most of the time)
+ I can customize the theme and layout with simple knowledge in HTML and CSS directly from the Admin CP.
+ The easy editing of the theme and templates allow me to integrate other popular softwares into MyBB, or vice versa/
+ Many of even the most advanced mods only take a second to install.
+ What else is there to say? Easiest to customize for me.

Not saying I don't like phpBB, in fact I love it. I just like MyBB more.

So what are your reasons?

It's just awesome still a lot of untapped potential within the style side but with all these new authors producing their own unique work we will and are seeing a quick progression of awesome designs. The modification side is so amazing with so many authors and forums dedicated to Mybb mods you will find something you like.

And defiantly the most important part is the large amount of communities all on the Mybb topic. You will always find support, designs, mods and even friends within these communities. I personally have never participated in a forum about a software like i have with Mybb.

It has every upside from all forum softwares ( including payed ) and none of their downsides.
The only downside is that even though mybb is opensource and quite some mods are free on the site or external ( like here ) for some features, especially primary ones which sometimes provide vital functions, are payed mods which are suggested to support peoples issues.....
I personally don't think someone should pay to have a problem solved.

Besides that i love it all the way.

It's very fast and easy to install. It's feature is also very easy to use and user friendly. It has impressive functions.

Its fantastic plugins and authors!

Mainly because of:
Easy mods install.
Quick reply form at the bottom.

I like how simple it is.

Ok this is a really easy question to answer. I love MyBB, becase of:

• Simple, yet effective
• Tons of sweet modifications (paid and free)
• Milions of awesome themes (paid and free)
• Friendliest community and support
• More...
  

And there is only one thing I hate about MyBB, and that is that there is NO Slovenian translation for it yet
