Yes I do...I don't know if it would make a difference, but I'm using firefox v3.5.8. I still think this is a great mod and would like to use it. Any help would be appreciated, and thank you for your quick reply nickman.

[edit]Another thing that I just realized might be the culprit here nickman. Do you have to have Ajax installed somehow?...I'll do some more digging to see if this is the case. Will report back with results!

Ajax is basically just JS and PHP, so you should be fine on that end...Are you getting any JS errors when you load pages?

RE: [BETA] MyMessenger
Only in IE. No errors occur with firefox.
The errors that I get with IE are:

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; Tablet PC 2.0; InfoPath.2)

I'm not sure what this pertains to...Maybe I'll have to go back through the install instructions to make sure I made all of the edits correctly. I don't know if this is something with IE that's causing this, but as I said, I don't get any errors with firefox.

[edit] Ok, I just looked and I do get an error in firefox as well...It says that "init" is undefined in member.php?action=profile&uid=4(). The string is addListener(window, 'load', init). I found this using the "Firebug" plugin with firefox. Apparently js errors aren't reported on firefox unless you look in firebug.
Ok Nickman, you might/might not be proud of me on this one...I figured it out. There's nothing wrong with the scripts or code or anything. The only thing that I did (which might be a change to make to the original file nick ) was rename the "jscripts" file (which I transferred from the original download .zip) to "mymessenger.js". I got to checking and the script was trying to link to "mymessenger.js" but it couldn't really do that when the file that it was supposed to be linking to was "jscripts"! The messenger works like a charm now. Thanks for this one Nickman!

For any IE users....tsk tsk. But if that's all you have and you want to use this plugin, you'll have to turn off your popup blocker or add an exception for the website that's using the messenger plugin. If not, you'll keep getting that annoying bar at the top of your screen saying that a popup has been blocked, and if you click it to allow the popup, nothing will happen. In other words, you won't get the message that was sent to you. You might also have to do this with Firefox as well though too, but once again, great app...Keep up the good work nick!

RE: [BETA] MyMessenger
I have found a simple bug with this.
On my forum, when you get the box and type something in and hit enter, it doesn't send the message, but when you get the box, type in and click on ok, it does send the message.
This is quite troublesome because i think 99% of the users will either use the enter button or atleast prefer it.

Besides that great plugin and it's fantastic ^^.
