I had an idea that could make life very very hard for spambots during registration process.
Obviously as it is an idea i've no guarantee it will work at 100%, it is a "work in progress".
Before installing it, open it with a text editor then find YOU_SHOULD_CHANGE_THIS_VALUE_ASAP and replace it with some word of your own and don't share that!

You should try set up several questions that a visitor should answer correctly before being allowed to sign up. I had a serious problems with spambots and after adding 4 questions (whose answers aren't part of the questions... making it harder or even impossible for normal spambots to get through) no more spambot managed to register. I suggest you do the same.
