Form Manager
Is Form Manager still downloadable? It seems as if it's no longer working.

RE: Form Manager
I am using Forms Manager to handle voting on a photography forum monthly competition.

It will let me despatch posts into the Forum Council Members Area, into a specified sub-forum. But because this data needs to be copied and pasted and sorted (collated and assembled), it would help if form answers could be posted into a particular thread.

I guess, if that were possible, the user would specify a tid number.

Would this be an enhancement that you would think of making?

RE: Form Manager
Having thought this over a bit, looking at as many angles as I can, I've come up with this strategy.

1) Use the post to forum option as an audit trail, so that I can check up on who cast votes and whether rules were kept to. This also gives a blow by blow record of who votes and when.

2) Write a piece and add it to your code, to append output to a specified text file (the user name is not needed as that is in the audit trail provided at (1)). Do this in tandem with (1)

3) Use that text file as an input file and process it within a PHP-type page within the CMS system. The php code would be written so that the finalised output is displayed at "myforum/results.html". The code would sort and aggregate votes cast.

I have a monthly cycle of competitions. The voting is about to start. I have another whole month when I can prototype and test it all out, in stages. For example, I can develop the php code for appending test result records to a text-file from within the CMS environment. From there I can tailor the extra code that would comprise the extra option, into your code body.
