Actually, I bumped into a new problem. I hope it's okay that I don't a new thread for it.

Here it goes: Is there any possibility to display the number of new messages in the header_welcomeblock_member template part?

Old (solved) problem:

Hi there,

I am new to myBB and generally a PHP noob. The problem I am having is the following:

Recently I installed a myBB forum on my server and downloaded a theme for it. Unfortunately, I don't remember who the theme was by originally; by now I have heavily customized it anyway.

The problem are HTML styling bits of code, like <strong> for instance. Which file do I have edit to get rid of that (and where do I find it)?


I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

Actually, I just found out to do it. Looking at the source code I realized that every part of the myBB forum is full of <!--comments--> with the names of the corresponding section. Editing those sections happens in the ACP. How unexpectedly simple the solution is. Thanks for reading. I hope I can help people who bump into the same problem.
