I must say I love alot of the mods featured here and the fact they are purchased via post count (technically?) so not EVERYONE has them makes them sorta unique in a way!

I love that people actually have to give to the community to access them, not just leech the site.
On the other hand... it does promote spam / fake accounts to accumulate points.

For the most part, spam is controllable. At least on my forums, since all the spam bots stick to the otherwise dead Minecraft section..

Truthfully, it would be GREAT to have higher priced modifications, but I do agree with the spam, I guess that's why they made it cheap... Too bad some people can't make such a great idea fun. :(

Either way, I love how the system works, I really wish there would be more plugin devs here to really expand the database. I'm glad I chipped in my 5 dollars though.

I agree. I am a premium user and I kinda wish there were mods that only I have access to. I think that would drive a lot more "real" users to the site!
