Well I've played the game that I bought imported in Japan. The reason I think it's okay is because it's slightly less kid friendly, the main characters happen to be teenagers. My only complaint is there's no way I can catch them all, too many pokemon. x_x I think they'll be going into the 1000s soon. Not enough pokeballs.

We bought it for my set-daughter and she love it... Almost beat it. I actually like it too
