Hello,

Someone just asked me over IM what is the difference in plugin functions (mainly deactiving and uninstalling) simple answers really.

• Activing - Makes changes that makes the plugin noticable/visable. These are usually adding settings and performing template edits.
• Installing - Installing usually makes databases changes and insert data (If needed)
• Deactiving - Makes the plugin not visible (Usually removes template edits) and removes any settings the plugin creates
• Uninstalling - Removes the database tables and data stored during the use of the plugin.
  

I hope that has cleared some things up.
