I rather much enjoy Harry Potter. I believe the books are better, but that's generally the case with book to film type scenarios.

I have read the whole Harry potter series and have also watched all of the releases. Good books rarely get turned into good movies, so read the novel before you watch the movie. Movie lacks lots of stuffs that have been mentioned on the novel.
