Allow the Invisible / Hide Me Option Only for Certain Group(s)
After seeing some responses, I think this would be better than what I originally requested:
  1. Plugin allows the admin to configure which user group(s) are able to set themselves to be hidden. Other groups are unable to set this option.
  2. Plugin could also provide a link to be clicked by the admin, which would run an SQL query to identify any users that are set to be hidden, that should not be (in case of user group change, etc.), and correct the discrepancy

My original request:
I would like a plugin that would allow the admin to disable (or re-enable) the option to "Hide me from the Who's Online list", both in the registration form and the User CP. It would also be great for it to have the ability to run as needed, where it would find any users set to invisible and set them to the opposite.

Thank you!

RE: Disable the Invisible / Hide Me Option
Is their not a permission?

Dang, I though there was Got it confused with the "View Invisible" permission.

I think this would be a good feature to have

Thanks, I had seen this, but it would be nice to have a plugin to make life easier.

Just remove the checkbox in the templates ?

Is god able to prevent evil but not willing?
Then he is malevolent
Is god both able and willing to prevent evil?
Then when will it end?
Is god neither able NOR willing to prevent evil?
Then why call him god?

Nickman, are you out there? Any chance that you could make a plugin that would add an option to prevent users from seeing/selecting this box? Something along those lines? Thanks!

It doesn't take much to do that yourself
