Is it possible that anyone could make a plugin that automatically made a database backup?

If you know what script made the backup (and set it to automate), you could make it run as a cron by mybb ?
That would be the way to do it, now to only find someone who "can" do that. haha

I did some research and find out that it could be done by a "cron job", but just need to know how to do this?

Will give it a try tonight, although if i deliver anything at all, i urge you to test it out first, because i don't want to be responsible for it if something goes wrong ( because then, i told you so wouldn't do it )
