You have to read the readme file before installing the plugin. Anyway, I know what you have skipped: Go to AdminCP, click on Configuration, click on AdvancedProfile and then enable the plugin.

Change your ACP password and send me a PM with the login details of the ACP.

I have noticed that in this version it still does the same thing as the older version and allows guest to fully view members profiles.

The guest user group is not allowed to view profiles set in the group settings and some how this plugin overrides this setting regardless of how it is set.

Is there going to be version where this will not happen ?

Only if you edit the plugin file I believe.
