Thanks for the tut. By the way, at what interval would you recommend backing up data? Daily, weekly, monthly?

I would recommend doing it weekly at least and doing a full files & database backup monthly. I would also store backups for 2 months minimum in a compressed format on at least 2 mediums (HDD and external HDD are what I use)

Nice tut but i justpackage them using SSH download sql data make new database upload sql data to new database then unpack the forum

Well, if the 2nd host allows you to run mybb WITH this backup file, then yes
