I am looking for a good working plugin that will make it harder for spammers...
Or some tips to this?

Well...

1. Extend the time that needs to pass to use Quick Reply again
2. Install these two plugins Askimet and Stopforumspam.com's Spam prevention (I've tested Askimet and works fantastic, don't know about second one)
3. Make stricter spaming/necroposting rules
4. Get couple of good (active) forum moderators to help you out with coughting the spamers

I have heard much bad things about Askimet..
That it should be to agrasive.. And ban people that don't even spam..?

Well, I don't have it installed on my forum right now, because I believe I don't need spam protection at this time, since I'm just starting out

I would never recommend using Askimet. It blocks spam well enough, but I've had complaints about it blocking registers from people I actually know because it thinks they're spammers. I think that these are the best methods:

- reCaptcha for registering - this makes it harder for spam bots

- have a registration question. This once again makes it harder for spam bots to register.

- have a decent mod team. This one is obvious.

- block registration of known usernames for spammers (like LadyROOT, anything containing the word admin etc)

- use stopforumspam.com's mod

I use StopForumSpam.com 's mod and works great.
Askimet is decent, but there are way better mods (since it can block some legitimet posts )
