(OUTDATED) - Err...means it's outdated.
There is another software bridge on the way that I'll list when it's released.
Well, as everyone knows...MyBB is, of course just a forum software (an awesome software, but a forum software still). And I often hear a lot of people asking for various bridges with various softwares for MyBB. And I've looked over a lot for MyBB bridges, and found a lot of neat ones. So I thought it might come in handy for you guys if I gave you a list of software that you can bridge MyBB with (as well as a list of ways to bridge with).
Enjoy.
(Note, softwares are listed in alphabetical order)
Comet Chat
Software Type: Facebook Style Chat and Bottom Bar/Dock
Demo: http://www.cometchat.com/ (look at the bottom bar)
Price: $49 - $499 (depending on the type of package you purchase)
Comet Chat is probably THE best Facebook style dock/chat in existence right now. I've used it myself, it is VERY powerful. Giving you the ability to check Chatlogs, and look into conversations IF needed. Your users will have the ability to message each other on the site through the IM feature, handwrite messages/pictures through a special flash feature, create their own chat rooms (for multiple users) or even play one on one games like checkers or chess against one another. It's clientless ensuring your users don't need to download anything, but not without quite a hefty cost. But depending on your site's purpose, I'll say now that it's very worth it.
*** Bridging Comet Chat & MyBB
I marked this as free, because dependent on the package you get...it is sort of free. If you don't mind forking out $249 for Comet Chat's Premium Edition, their developers will install it onto MyBB for you. Otherwise, if you go to their forums and are a registered member allowed to use them, a lot of members post various ways on how to bridge softwares with Comet Chat. Some of them have created stuff for MyBB too.
Coppermine Photo Gallery
Software Type: Image Gallery
Demo: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg15x/
CPG is what you would expect it to be. An image gallery. I've never actually used the software myself, but from what I can tell from the demo, it's very nice. So feel free to check out the demo yourself.
*** Bridging Coppermine Gallery
Unlike most of the listed softwares which share bridging through plugins or tutorials. Coppermine has its own Bridge Wizard. And if you want to learn how to bridge MyBB (or any forum for that matter), have a look-and-see at the tutorial they've made.

Drupal
Software Type: CMS
Demo: http://php.opensourcecms.com/scripts/det...riptid=191
Drupal is an excellent CMS, and almost as customizable as Joomla or Wordpress (though not quite ). Beyond that, not much I can say about it, though if you don't like Joomla's Administration System, you may not like Drupal's either.

- *** [Tutorial] Integrating Your Site With MyBB (Advanced)
This tutorial's not too bad, so long as you can understand the jist of it. I tested it with Drupal, and it SORTA helps to bridge the two. I'm not sure if it works with Wordpress as he listed (if someone can confirm this for me, I'd be very obliged)
Joomla!
Software Type: CMS
Demo: http://demo.joomla.org/
Probably THE most customizable CMS in all the internet. There are quite a few people who claim Joomla to be difficult to understand, but the Administration is actually very simple...just different than what you're used to. After a day of messing around, you'll probably understand just about every part of it. Has hundreds of thousands of plugins/themes and a strong community behind it.

- *** JFusion
The guys who created JFusion were absolutely brilliant. JFusion doesn't just bridge MyBB, you can set it to bridge all users of softwares it supports together! Or just a few or anywhere in between. JFusion supports MyBB, phpBB, vBulletin, Magneto, SMF, Moodle, and Gallery 2 with several other softwares on the way. I use it myself, and it's incredible.
For a tutorial on how to use JFusion to bridge the two softwares, please see this topic.

(NOTE: There's one important thing to mention about JFusion's Dual Login System. A lot of people install and bridge Joomla / Softwares together and forget to do one little thing in the end. You have to disable Joomla's standard login/registration modules from the Modules Administration, and activate the JFusion ones. After that, anyone who logs in with simultaneously log into all the other softwares too. Remember to do that.)
Wordpress
Software Type: Blog / CMS
Demo: http://www.ndesign-studio.com/demo/wordpress/
I think it's much more suited to a blogging software, but the many plugins out there can form it to be a great CMS. It's simple to use and very snazzy/awesome. To tell the truth though, without plugins which would use a decent user database...a bridge isn't truly necessary.
List of Wordpress MyBB Bridge Plugins
- *** WordBB (OUTDATED)
It's unfortunate that the only bridge I know of for Wordpress is outdated. I've yet to try it, but from all the recent comments I've seen, WordBB is outdated and very unlikely to work on your forum. If you still wanna try, be my guest. But of course, make absolute certain to back up your forum's/wordpress' files/databases.
I'm always on the lookout for software bridges. If you know of any for MyBB (that aren't listed here), please post here and let me know. Not because I want to bridge the software myself, but just 'cause I like to horde information. But really, I'd be very obliged.
I hope this list will help you guys.
