Put it this way, They all suck in some way. Every single software. Also, I, In my opinion, dont think VB is "User Freindly" infact, Its far from it, Again, As you sort of say, If your experienced, Vb rocks, and its easy for you to say its user friendly, But for Beginners, vBulletin is bloody hard.
I personally prefer MyBB and i been using it less than vBulletin. vBull is good, But all the features of vBulletin that Mybb does not have, Are in MyBB plugins or code edits. I find mybb better, As ITS FREE. FREE! It does everything vbulletin does too. Plus, vBull takes AGES and i mean AGES to configure board permissions for over 10 additional groups. Even you can admit that. Mybb, A snap. Why i prefer?

- vBulletin needs a Licence. This can be annoying - Also, WIth mybb, You have NO legal trouble
- If you replace some files that vBulletin uses, It can fk up the board because the Customer number is not in that unmodified file. I had issues with this before
- vBulletin uses Exec and one other (cant remember) PHP function which is blocked on quite a few resellers.
