Sorry for the very basic question, but google couldn't help me out. How can I show a popup each time a PM is received? Is that a mod, or a standard feature of MyBB?

Looking into this further, it looks like this is "new" in MyBB 1.4 and I'm currently using the latest version. How do I revert it so I can display the popup? I can't find the setting.

There is a pluggin for it, I will post the link when I have it but there is also the yellow bar (like above) that tells you when you have a PM

Yeah, I know it now "inlines" the notification in a bar/area like you mentioned. My members are use to the popup so I'd really like to continue down that route if possible.
