No showthread.php? Almost all thread views are .html (Vbull?)
Well I was just curious.

Its just Friendly URLs. It makes it easier for search engines to index pages, and easier for you to type the URL. Instetead of:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthrea...st1867384, you have:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/thread-33...#p=1867384

Its a lot shorter than vB's long URLs, and so much easier to read, ain't it?

woah, mybb can do that? How? Pretty new to me
and the profile pretty much look like vbull with all its tabs.

Try the Google SEO plugin for MyBB =P It's just a few url re-writes. Probably using mod_rewrite.

Tried Google SEO plugin, and I was having problems with me forum, whenever i use the URL plugin = 404 not found for forums. :(

That could be because you were using mod_rewrite - I have a similar problem on ym site. Try it without enabling mod_rewrite and see what happens

nah i was stupid, i was editing .httacces of my public_html

and i noticed that there is also one at my forum directory, so there.... IT WORKED
