Hello MyBBSource,

I wanted to know is there a way to remove all rules from admin accounts? i find it stupid i have to be limited when i'm admin... Like the rules of how many max characters you can have for your sig.

Well, I belive that that can be fixed using an plugin. As far as I know there is no such plugin yet, maybe you should request it from Nickman

I`m pretty sure that this can`t be done with a plugin, you need to edit the php file manually.

But mybb should really add this as an option or something in the admin cp cause if your owner there's no need to be limited as you won't mess up your own things...

Yeah, I would agree with Jimmy with this one, it is stupid admins having sig limits.

But as the others said, send Nickman a message, he would probably make one for ya

um like others have said shadow -.- u would need to edit the core php files... But hey maybe they are wrong (but im sure u can make a plug in where separate users have a different limit...)

I think that it would be too much work and may even pose a security risk by creating an exploit. Maybe in a future core release it would be nice but I have not seen any board software where a super administrator has no rules. Even in Vb there limits that need to be set for the admin group

I think I`m right because I don`t think myBB has hooks there, and without hooks you can`t make plug-ins!
