hi there is there any mods for a donate via paypal
that will work with a normal paypal account all the ones i can find are for prem and buisness accounts

I don't think you need a MOD to add a donation button. You just need a PayPal account.

You can place the donate button anywhere on the site. You don`t need mods to do that. But if you want the user to be able to choose the sum you should do some customization.

Go to paypal and generate a donation button code. Go to templates and edit the header or the footer template and insert it.
