RE: How would I set up a .co.cc domain

1. Go to http://www.co.cc/
2. Check if your desired domain is free by typeing its name and pressing the button "Check availablility"
3. If its available click the button "Continue to registration" and if its not try again
4. Click the link in the bottom "Create an account now"
5. Fill out the application with valid e-mail and press button "Create an account now"
6. Validate your e-mail by clicking the validation link that has been send to your specified e-mail
7. Login to your account and register the domain for free
8. Set up the domains DNS (e.g n1.yourhost.com and n2.yourhost.com)
9. Wait up to two days for your domain to be seted up
10. Have fun

I hope I've covered it all, I haven't registered an new account since I already own one so I don't know exacly about validation I'm sorry for spelling errors, I'm kinda in a hurry

Actually, when entering the name server details, its ns1.(yourhostname) and ns2.(yourhostname)

for example, mine was ns1.x10hosting.com (and) ns2.x10hosting.com

Its not necesary. Some hosting sites use other prefixes (like my example), so could be anything But, you've made the point, most of them use ns1 and ns2

Well, I guess it's just safe to check with them first. They should have it somewhere located on your Hosting CP.
