I just want to remind everybody that one liner posts are not acceptable in any forum, besides spam central. Posting one liner posts is considered spam and we'll get you warned or even banned. I'm sick of it and it's ruining the community as a whole. Furthermore, topics such as "What timezone are you in" or "How old are you" should belong in Spam Central and NOT any other forum. Again, we are trying to grow the community and posts like this are not helping. This mainly goes out to new members. We are more lenient on this issue to members who have shown that they can be a positive addition to the community.

Be warned, if you spam you WILL get warning. Unless of course it's in Spam Central...

Agreed with Bey Brad. As long as a similar system is used,you will always have people spamming to get the stuff they want.
Very few things you can do to counter this unfortunately.

It may be true that they can "live without the plugins". It may be true they can "pay" for them with money. But most people, given the choice, will try to obtain it for no financial cost to themselves. And I understand the reasoning behind this system. But you should expect this from the beginning. People would rather "spam" so they can download your mods, than pay for it.

I know personally, this site was sort of confusing to navigate. I found one of your plugins on Google, and nearly ripped my hair out trying to figure out how the hell to download it. Then I thought to sign-up, and get slapped in the face with a "MyBux" link. Didn't even see anything about purchasing the damn thing on the download page, I would have at least thought about doing so if there was a nice little "subscribe now" or PayPal button clearly placed. So as a frustrated visitor, I'd obviously want to take the easy route and "spam" my way.

Just sayin.

There is a 'Premium Membership' link placed near enough in the middle of the navigation bar. And the purchase link is a very large link underneath the plugin in the mod database.

Any spam we find will be deleted and the member warned/banned (if nessacary). If a post is deleted then your MyBux will decrease with it. Making you have to post to go back into positive if you became below 0. I understand that you may have the urge to spam (and we have spam central to get rid of that urge) however would you spam on the mybboard forum? It's quite easy to make a nice reply to a thread instead of just simple 1 liner posts that don't add anything to the community. Even if you didn't know how to download mods you could post in the community and maybe ask to find out.

There are many other ways of getting MyBux you can post, buy a subscription and in the marketplace there are offers where you can get a certain amount of mybux for registering. It only takes a bit of common sense to find out how to download our plugins (just ask and we'll help). Again you could take the easy route but that could lower your reputation for visiting other sites and you could lose access to other mybbsource plugins. So why take that risk?

It only takes about 5 minutes of your time to post non-spam in the forums. Then you can get your hands on one of our plugins. Remember that the longer and more constructive your posts are the more MyBux you actually get.
