So are you able to listen to any song you want? What about downloading songs? Can you do that for free or do they require you to pay per song like Itunes?

Nah, you can't download them D; You may be able to on the premium version where you have to pay though. I only use the free one lol

Oh. This sounds a lot like Slacker.com

For any U.S members, try Slacker. It's basically the same as Spotify.
