RE: [idea]Openwebware Wysiwyg integration
Glad to know you think it's going well. Good luck with it. Procrastination is also another reason why I haven't learned php that well. Don't have the time or patience to sit there and learn it.
Yeah I got sick of phpbb 3 again. Missed mybb to much.

Well, let me tell you. My biggest forum, which is actually a closed forum not just open to anyone, I switched over to vbulletin. And I miss mybb. Lol Dargh.

html enabled it´s risky. I agree that BBCode is better just because of this
@HolyPhoenix - look at this plugin, at the red statement > http://mods.mybboard.net/view/tinymce-plugin
I think vb menu uses BBCode too...

RE: [idea]Openwebware Wysiwyg integration
I am aware of the fact that enabling html is risky, and I know how so as well. It's not hard to completely mess up a forum with it enabled. I will have to look at the code to the wysiwyg to see if you will need to have it enabled. Technically there should be ways that don't need it enabled, since the forum could convert it to html on it's own without the user using actual html.

RE: [idea]Openwebware Wysiwyg integration
good luck then
wysiwyg is a needed feature to mybb, not too much ppl at "Ideas" mybb site agree, but I think they´re experienced to bbcode (admins could handle it easily I think) and this is not the case to most regular/lazy forum users

RE: [idea]Openwebware Wysiwyg integration
True. Currently I have wysiwyg enabled on my vbulletin board, and html disabled. This is because in fact even the regular editor converts the post to html before it puts it in the database. I believe that mybb is the same way, though I am too lazy to check at this moment.

RE: [idea]Openwebware Wysiwyg integration
I hope so too bytehunter. I am putting a lot of sweat into this one to get good at making plugins. Tweaking things differently. And all that jazz. Tonight is actually coding night for my small company that is semi started, so I can't actually write code for it again tell tomorrow, but on every other night mybb mods are going to take priority for a few weeks.
