Ok, I have some forums where users can open subjects and sell/buy/trade something. I would like to disallow that for new users that have less than XX posts, is there a plugin for that and I believe there isn't, so, can someone make it? But I would like that forum to be visible...

maybe you could use promotion system... it´s a default mybb feature

For example: when user have made 10 posts, he will "grow up" to a "active member" group with higher permissions

there is a plugin more or less like that , http://mybbsource.com/forums/mods.php?act=view&id=50 but the difference is that your users will not be able to view it either ( I think )
