I downloaded this, but it still allows any user to see topic titles, who posted the topic, who replied and how many replies, etc ...

It's still useful, but it seems like a bit of an oversight. If the point is to keep a topic secret, this is a bad way to go about it.

I realize this, but the reason was because it's almost impossible to make a topic disappear off the forumdisplay page. For the next version I think I will just make it show --- or something.
