I know i know. There out already. But i dont find any suit me or my members.
I currently run the ajax one and i am upto 851 pages. So its loads of posts i am missing out on sort of.
Here is what i was thinking. A shoutbox the does the normal stuff. But also has timestamp.
Also i think it would be good to be able to have admin/mod prune the shouts.
But the big one is i would love to have the shoutbox post the contents every day or so to a specific forum then auto prune the shouts it posted.

This sort of thing possible?

There ARE lots out there. But would it hurt to have another one (not to mention better one).

what other ones are there? i only know spicefuse and musicalmidgets, i want one like vB with the smilies selector, font selector and color selector.

Nickman, Alex and others. What is your thoughts on this?
Something that is simple to do or a big complicated job?
And also could not agree more with Indigo. Font options and smileys etc would be a big plus also.

spiecefuse and the other shoutbox is to plain and i always wanted a ban feature for the shoutbox, but might be to complicated, not sure though.

should be fairly simple perhaps you could just port one over from IPB they have great shoutbox mods.

It's doable, just a big project. And I'm not that great with JS so I might have to pass on this one.

Really sucks though. I have now got 22,695 shouts and only 12,600 posts on my forum. See the bad maths.
