I think I added this somewhere on mybboard.net but I'll give you the idea of doing so also, and you're a little more actively involved in plugin creation than most people.

The title says it all.. Basically when someone tries to vote they receive a message like "Youre rating will be shown as soon as 5 votes have been made", after which it'd go away. The only options for this plugin would be one lang file for the message and 2 fields in the acp, enabled/disable and the # of votes needed before a rating is counted and the average is shown.

Of course it can be taken further but that's a simple idea.

Good idea, but again, I'm not sure this can be done with out a file edit. I'll have to look into it. If it didn't have 5 votes or whatever, would it say 0?

This does sound like a great idea... i know a lot of users have been voting a 5* rating to get it shown, when they're the only user who votes. It sounds simple, yet so effective
