is there any plugin to change the forum icons?
on mybboard i've found http://mods.mybboard.net/view/pl9-forum-icons but it is not 1.4.13 compatible :(

Yeah, I believe that author stopped giving support for it and stopped the further development of the plugin as well
However, you can do it as well with installing Ficons made by Labrocca and removing the on/off/offlock image display section in forumdisplay template. This will make similar effect

i can't download it even if i'm registered :(

Most of the plugins found on MyBBCentral are available only to paid subscribers. Thats why you're unable to download it

I will teach you how to edit the plugin to be compatible with any version of mybb. First, open up the plugin itself in an FTP. Then, edit it and find where it should say 1410 or some type of 4 digit number. Edit that to the version of mybb we are on or the 4 digit number on the mybb.zip file that you download from the site and it should work. I got this to work on my site and I am running 1.4.13 and it works great!

This procedure will not help if the plugin itself is not compatible with X version of MyBB. This edit only makes MyBB think its compatible, since all you do is change compatibility number. This works in most cases, but it fails in some as well, but no harm can be done to my knowledge

However, since you comfirmed that this works with this plugin...Its worth a try to edit it and enjoy it. And I would recommend setting it to 1.4.*, because you can never know when new version of MyBB will be released and setting it to current version would only make you edit it once again later for newer release.

thx but i've already tried this and nothing worked

p.s. i set the version to 14*

Change it to 1413, this will make it work. I am running the latest and it does work

i've tried it but when i try to edit a forum details i can't see the box where i have to specify the icon of the forum...

Did anyone find how to do this ?
