Hi Guys,

I might sound noob, but what is the benefit of affiliates?

are they paid advertisers? or its about mutual link exchange? or it can be both? or altogether different thing?

was just wondering if its good to have affiliates, how to get them and preserve them if they are nice

Affiliates are very good way to gain some users.
They place a banner to theris site, with Affiliates plugin you can place a "linkback"(banner).

hmmm.. that means its mainly for back links.. and if its for back links, it can be paid also

i would like to implement it on my forum in that case... anyone wanna affiliate with me??

exchange is always free as long as it is mutually agreed

one side affiliate always needs some pay off

Not at my place...I'm still offering free one way advertising on my blog. However, its going to be replaced with forums

There is almost no benefit...Only more visits per day since almost every person that you giveout an advertisement to posts a feedback of you site so you get one time advertisement
