Very useful tutorial. I've never really installed Mybb on my computer before. I vaguely remember trying to once, but something went wrong :dodgy:

It appears that phpMyAdmin hates me.

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

Checked that link, and then tried the tutorial posted in it. The error I get happens at Step 2.
