As many of you may be aware, MyBB 1.4.2 was released. MyBBSource has been upgraded and I recommend you all upgrade to this new release as it patches many security vulnerabilities.

Man i am tooooooo scared to do so. The upgrade to 1.4 was a fuckin nightmare really. Took me about 1 month to get it sorted and several other people helping me. Labrocca included. Cost me a few $ to get the help also i might add.
1.4 has sooooo many bugs i fear upgrading any more... Perhaps i will on another forum i have as i dont care so much if its goes belly up but my main one... Might wait until i see feedback from pissed off members like 1.4.1 created.

They included the wrong installer in 1.4.1 that's why it messed up everybody's.
Luckily they released it when I was at school.. and I after I read the stuff I didn't install until it was safe.
But I can assure you, that 1.4.2 is perfect. Nothing wrong.

I'll do it this weekend. But I'm going to do the manual edits so will need some time to do it.
