Mod download and installed. The best feature is to give permission to users and groups to visit closed board. Very usefull!
It'll be OK.

Interesting idea. However, most of the time, a board is closed during updates. If you allow others to access and or post during the closure, you can corrupt some data. ;)

well that's why you can still use board offline feature :) This is for a different reason really.
