MyBBSource will be sponsoring it's first contest. This contest will be a tutorial contest where you will be able to win a cash prize of $25 dollars for first place and $5 dollars for second place paid through paypal.

Objective
You will need to write a tutorial that helps our users do something either related to MyBB or one of MyBBSource's mods.

Requirements

• Must be 100% original
• Must be MyBB or a MyBBSource mod/theme related
• Must be at least 100 characters in length (can be negotiated if images are used)
• Must include at least 2 images
• You MAY have as many entries as you would like.
  

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL TUTORIALS POSTED WILL BELONG TO MyBBSource EXCLUSIVELY.

Judging
Judging will be based on three factors

1. Style: How do you display the information? Is it well organized?
2. Content: Is everything accurate? Spelling errors?
3. Requirements: Did you follow all directions? Is it 100+ characters?
   

Judging will be done by Nickman, Killswitch and Netsage. We will give you a score 1-10 (10 being the highest) for each category. We will then pick the winners by the highest average of our three scores.

Payment
Payment will be made as soon as the contest ends and the winners has contacted Nickman giving him your Paypal address.

Ending Date
Approx. two weeks from today the 28th

hmm, pretty nice contest. I'm totally in.
I only have one doubt, if I make more than one tutorial will it be valued in the judging? In other words, if I make more than 1 tutorial will it give me more points, or will I have the same if I make only 1 tutorial?

They must only be posted here...so if you removed it from your forum and put it here, then it would be ok. Otherwise no.

Is there a limit on how many we have?

EDIT: Nevermind, just re-read, but let's say someone doesn't get 100 characters.. does the tutorial get deleted or what?

That's just a recommendation..It's not set in stone as long as it's clear
