[INSTALL]MyCredits
So, for you new users who just downloaded MyCredits, and are stuck... I'm here to save the day.

First things first. Download the mycreds zip here: http://mybbsource.com/forums/mycreds_download.php?id=1
(Need 10 posts)

Step 1:
After you've done that extract the files by right clicking-->extract to mycreds_beta.

(Screenshot.)

Step 2:
Upload files via FTP. ( I can do this for you if you don't know how but I'll need FTP details PM'd. :) )

Step 3:
In Admin Control Panel (ACP for short) go to "Templates & Styles." Click on templates at the left, find the theme you want to edit and click the name.
You should get a long list of things. Which you probably think looks confusing. But it's not.
Find "PostBit" 24 down. (Between Portal & Post templates.)
Click that, which will expand ANOTHER list. Find Postbit_Author_User. Click that.

Step 4:
About 50% done! :D
On the first line it should say...
Code:
{$lang->postbit_posts} {$post['postnum']}<br />
Right after that (hit the enter bar at the end of that) put..
Code:
{$mybb->settings['credits_name']} : {$post['credits']}    <br/>

Step 5:
Last step!
Go back to the list of templates...
(Screenshot)
And find "Member Templates" (13 down.) and find "Member_Profile."
Find..
Code:
<tr>
<td class="trow2"><strong>{$lang->timeonline}</strong></td>
<td class="trow2">{$timeonline}</td>
</tr>
In there. Under that add.
Code:
<tr>
<td class="trow2"><strong>{$mybb->settings['credits_name']}</strong></td>
<td class="trow2">{$mycreds}</td>
</tr>

And guess what? YOUR DONE! I know this can be easily figured out by reading the readme but most people don't.

This and more tutorials can be found at my website: http://www.aguads.co.cc/forums/

That's up to Nickman to decide. But I'm betting it will. :)

Of course it won't.
Nickman makes mod because he likes helping people. He doesn't need the money, and donations and ads help run the site. We will NEVER charge for modifications period.

Nice tutorial by the way ;)

Pretty petty shot at MyBB Central. You have to pay a whole five dollars a year for access to the best MyBB plugins available, and he fulfills a lot of plugin requests. You may not charge on this site, but it's slathered in ads, so I don't think you get to take the high ground.

Sorry, but I don't see any ads "slathered" around. A few, but there's no annoying "talking" ones, popups, flashing ones. Anything.

There's three banner ads on the thread display for this. A website this small can't cost more than a few dollars a month to run. :|
