The searchfunction of mybb is very strange. I use a example because my english is not very good.

I will find this word for example: maintainer

Searching for "tain" don't find any results.
Searching for "*tain*" don't find any results.
Searching for "main" don't find any results.
Searching for "main*" works!

Why I can't use two asterisk in my search?
Is there a plugin or a option for a better search?
Searching for "tain" only (without asterisk) would be the best for me but with two asterisk it is ok too.
