I was trying to set custom forum icon for each forum. I tried three plugins and all of them failed -
PL9 forum icons
Custom Forum Icons
at last - forum icons v1.2 (i think this one messed it all)

Now my forum icons images link to - /forum/images/theme/forumicons/off

What should i do? i disabled the two plugins but when i try to disable PL9, i get huge number of errors and child forums do not show up

Update: I created a folder forumicons in images folder and copied the images off,on,offlock with extensions removed. Now it works
But i still need a solution as mine is temporary. I want to stay stable and free of errors

Hmm this happened to me as well. Let me know if you find a fix

I'm new to MyBB but I would try do delete file from ftp then search for entry with name similiar to the plugin name in MySQL database and delete it. Make alot of copies before trying that because I'm not sure it will work.

I know also how to make forum to display coustom image without plugins. If you want i can write how to do so.
