They let you have access to cPanel, have remarkable uptime, inform you about security (I recently got an email about an IPB security issue), and let you have quite a bit of storage (I can't remember exactly how much). Plus they have softaculous, meaning I almost never need to bother downloading a software, uploading, waiting, creating a DB, waiting, etc.

I use 000webhost. People can say that it is bad because you get limitations that you wouldn't get with a paid host.
