This would be because you didn't select any usergroup permissions which means no one should be able to see the page.

Nickman, any advance on why MyCMS kills codepress? I believe I reported the issue earlier, but I'm not sure.

Okay...I just installed a fresh MyBB 1.6.1 and the CodePress didn't work from install. Can you please confirm that a fresh install of MyBB has codepress working?
