Moving Backkground

This site has lightning moving behind it xD
I would like to remove the moving lightning and make the lightning stand still, how can I do this?

I'm guessing the background is just an animated gif file. Replace said file with a still image

Yea, I replaced it xD
However, if you look at starrynight from indiepaper.com , you will notice the PNG file looks animated because it is moving sideways across the screen, same as it is now even though the file is GIF it is still moving sideways
