Hello everyone, today, MyBB 1.6 has officially went into beta stage. Whats your thoughts?

I personally am looking forward to the day it is released as a stable version

Just kidding. While I'm quite happy that it's apparent they'll be releasing the first stable stages of MyBB 1.6 soon, I probably won't be upgrading until sometime after a few updates. The whole "enter the nextgen" stage is pretty rocky in the beginning.

But it's great nonetheless.

I'm happy for it, but like Mikers said, I won't be upgrading to MyBB 1.6 until its really stable and until all of the current plugins that I use are converted to 1.6

Glad to see this. I hope rusnakweb will release his script after the stable MyBB 1.6 is released, so I can open my site.

I can't wait Nintendo Pros will probably be upgraded a while after, but mypuebb will be updated on release day

Could you possibly convert a 1.4 MyBB forum to 1.6 somehow?

I have not looked at the new Beta yet, i have downloaded but that about it really but i do have my own plans to help MyBB move forward few us from community of ipb coders have great plans to remodel the files to allow better style and working for all the templates etc. I will provide news once we started work really but it would make MyBB kickass.
