1. It's free
2. Aesthetically appealing
3. Mods are very easy to install.
4. Admin CP is simple and easy to understand.
Only thing I dislike is that compared to other software it lacks a large mod community.

I like the security and performance of mybb.You can take the statistics and you will see that mybb is free and last in successful hacking attempts and other paid ones like IPB or vbulletin ar hacked constantly..

I love how it's open source, so everyone can freely mod it and edit it however they want. It's also noob-friendly for first time forum owners.
What I do love the most, however, is the amount of plugins there are.
