Seems like its going to grow fast, but I really dislike the theme, its just too plain for a designing community forum

I dont really like that homepage concept.Its useless and time-wasting.Why not re-direct to forum automatically?
And I dont like the logo's text.(lol lol lol)
And the theme is a bit plain.For designing, you need to have different ideas.Its just like "an another forum"
otherwise its a good site.Dont worry it will develop by time.Keep a bit light theme and dont go for much darker one.For designing,blue proves to be an ideal colour.And learn some cool css techniques.Thanks(lol ;P).

you cannot see the forum legends...
The enter page is kinda useless too

I like the theme but the entry page is kind useless as people mentioned above

I have made a new splash page and a new forum skin. Umm enter page is just for now cause im gonna make a web page for the site soon ^.-
