OMG, I hate it when it takes so long, I like filezilla, it is wayyy faster

Really depends on what your site is geard toward. Just look around you can find some you like.

I think it depends on peoples necessity. But I will suggest to use my refer plugin. I think every forum needs to provide its members own referral link which will help the forum to get members more quickly.
