MyBB Source

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick hi from me. I'm new to the myBB scene but have used plenty of softwares over the years as a forum admin, including Yabb, PHPBoards, eBlah, SMF and Fireboard.

Looking forward to using myBB as my forum of choice.

There is something I have noticed though (or felt) while reading posts on the myBB sites over the last few days...and that is a certain tension within the community as a whole. I cannot put my finger on it, but there definitely seems to be "2 camps" for some reason.

Really? I'm not sure what your talking about a divide in the MyBB community.

But I hope you enjoy your time here at least.

And I agree, there are members at the mybb forums who act like babies and try to start tension. That's why I don't go there much anymore.

I have also seen things change a little ever since the 1.4 release come out. Not sure if thats what it is or not. But generally i find all MyBB related sites to be great friendly places. This forum is a great example. All members are helping each other if and when possible. People like Nickman producing great plugins with support. I love this place. Its actually the only forum i have ever donated to actually so i guess that shows how much i like it.
